Parochial Church Council
WHAT WE DO. We are responsible for the financial affairs of the church parish and the maintenance of its assets, including St.Michael & All Angels Church. We also assist the clergy in the management of Church affairs and promoting the mission of the Church.
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) plays a vital role within the parish, acting solely to promote its charitable function and where its members are a fiduciary role – rather like a trustee. Each Council member is required to act in a way that is consistent with the aims of the PCC and not to allow their own personal interests to come into conflict.
OUR priest in charge
The Revd Caitlin (Cate) Thomson is our Priest in Charge based in Kingstone and serves as a Rural Pioneer Priest as part of the Abbeydore Deanery, Hereford Diocese. Cate is also a member of Inclusive Church
OUR Church WArden
Our busy Churchwarden is Lyn Carter who has a wide range of duties including:
- Assisting in the preservation of the Church building and its assets
- Maintaining the buildings and Churchyard

safeguarding
Everyone has a safeguarding responsibility and it is important that we create an environment in which everyone feels safe and is safe. The welfare of vulnerable people – child or adult – is paramount, no matter how uncomfortable that may be because only in that way, can we create a church that is safe for everyone.
